LV Balou Jeanz 👑👖King in the South (visiting the North) Sire - Balou du Rouet (Baloubet du Rouet / Contender) Dam - Cotton Jenny xx (Zabeel) Age - 13 (born 23/10/2010) Height - 17hh Level - 5* My Dreamcatcher! Jeanz came to me as a rising six year old, and despite his unconventional style he’s always adored his job (especially crosscountry) and is a pure out and out trier. He flew up the grades to make his successful debut at 5* having barely turned 9 years old. After a couple of frustrating covid years achieving nothing, this incredible horse carried me all the way to achieving a life-long dream; competing at the prestigious Burghley Horsetrials 5*, not only once but twice!! I struggle to put into words the depth of my gratitude to this horse who has helped me achieve things I thought only possible in my wildest dreams. - Three CCI5*L completions - Including two Burghley 5* completions (Burghley being arguably the toughest of all 5*’s ) - The only Australian horse (/rider) to complete a 5* outside of Australia in 2023 -Multiple 4* wins and placings in Australia Jeanz owes me absolutely nothing, he has already achieved more than I (and many others) thought possible. I would love to gain more experience at competitions across the UK and Europe with him in 2024, including some Nations Cup events and maybe possibly Badminton 5*. But I have no expectations as every stride we take will only be the cherry on the icing on the already delicious cake!! |
Casallia S 😎🚀 Pocket Rocket
Sire - Casallco (Casall x Contender x Carthago ) Dam - Gold Jade (TB - Mr Prospector x Danehill ) Age - 8 (Born 14/2/2016) Height - 16hh (just…on a good day) Level - 3*, soon to upgrade to 4* Cia came to me as a 3 rising 4 year old from her breeders Kerrod and Nelson Smyth of Laurel Glen Stud. She quickly proved she’s much more than the Plain Jane she might appear by answering every question with a smile and rocketing up the grades. She may not be the flashiest, but she has heart and grit in spades. She joined me in the UK in mid 2023 where she tackled a number of CCI3*s and concluded the season with a double clear at the Young Event Horse World Championships in Le Lion D’Angers CCI3*L She has not incurred a single jumping penalty -crosscountry or showjumping - at international competition in the northern hemisphere. This will be a hard record to uphold in 2024 though as I hope to step her up to 4* level. If we can keep ourselves afloat in the UK long enough, I would love to aim her for the prestigious Blenheim CCI4* for 8/9 year olds. Expressions of interest in joining an Experience Syndicate to be a part of our 2024 journey are welcome! |

Legacy JH S 🐴 Little Legs
Sire - Larimar (Lavall x Lord ) Dam - Insulana (Diamant de Semilly x Cassini1 x TB) Age - 4 (Born 10/4/2020) Height - mature 16 - 16.1hh Level - young horse classes I was lucky to come across Legs as an unbroken 3 year old in mid 2023 while in the UK, and I’m even luckier that she is still around this year for me to continue to produce her! She came along at a time where I was seriously doubting my ability as a rider and particularly my ability as a young horse rider had been called in to doubt. Legs reminded me that actually I’m not bad at starting and producing babies and what’s more I really really really enjoy it! She renewed a bit of faith in my own abilities and my love of starting and producing youngsters. I’m eager to keep the ride on Legs as long as I’m able and aim her towards Young Event Horse 4year old classes in 2024 (the final of the series being held at Burghley). Anyone interested in joining an Experience Syndicate to be a part of her journey please get in touch! |
Conquerer .S. 🦕 Babysaurus Sire - Contendro 1 (World no.1 eventing sire ) Dam - Nikita XX (Zabeel x Lunchtime x Delago ) Age - 5 (Born 5/11/2017) Height - 17.1hh Level - EvA 80 SOLD to a 5* event rider Connor has grown into a strapping young lad since arriving as a scrawny weanling. His pedigree alone is exciting, his father having sired a number of 4 and 5 * eventer and his thoroughbred dam littered with names also known for producing jumping performers.. Connor is a gentle giant with an exceptional temperament willing attitude plus floating movement. While his legs may still be a long way from his brain his career got off to a good start, as he won his eventing debut leading the field from start to finish. |
Laurel Glen Baltiphine .S. 🐴 Sire - Baltic VDL (Quaprice Bois Margot x Jus de Pomme) Dam - Jessaphine TB ( Octagonal - Zabeel x Biscay) Age - 4 (Born 3/10/2018) Height - 16.2hh Level - pre-competition training SOLD to a 5* event rider Phi has been a pleasure to start under saddle, her cool and willing attitude making the process just so easy. Another quality mare from Laurel Glen Stud (Kerrod and Nelson Smyth) Phi is again a wonderfil mix of European showjumping blood combined with performance line thoroughbred. Her sire’s oldest progeny are beginning to make names for themselves overseas with wins and placing at the worlds top showjumping shows. Phi’s thoroughbred dam carries the great Zabeel line, as does my current 5* ride. This mix makes for a cracking athletic package with a lovely nature to boot. An exciting prospect all round sure to excel in eventing! |
Laurel Glen Balou Diamond .S. 💎 🧦
Sire - Balou du Rouet (Baloubet du Rouet x Continue) Dam - Laurel Glen Valentina ( Diarado X Marscay TB) Age - 4 (Born 12/11/2018) Height - 16.1hh Level - pre-competition training SOLD An eye catching mare from Laurel Glen Stud (Kerrod and Nelson Smyth) Gloria’s pedigree boasts European jumping royalty on both sides with a dash of performance line thoroughbred. Her sire is also that of my beloved 5* campaigner as well as numerous other 5* eventers and GP showjumpers. Likewise her dams sire is also a proven producer of eventers and jumpers of the highest levels. Her pedigree is almost as impressive on paper as she is in the flesh! Credit to the Smyth’s of Laurel Glen Stud for putting the worlds best ingredients together and producing this outstanding dish! |
Airlie 🐶 Breed - Red and White Irish Setter Age - 5 Displays athleticism but lacks coordination Poor ability to learn or retain new skills… or any skills Attention span short to non-existent Shows genuine enthusiasm despite total lack of focus and direction Indiscriminately affectionate but therefore lacks loyalty to her specific person Only known talents are annoying mum and making me laugh … often at the same time She’s perfect. Love her to bits just the way she is👌 |
